In the Data Engineering team, you can work with a large amount and variety of data and help us improve by utilising this data correctly in Germany, Poland, Italy and Austria.   

 

We are aiming for a modern cloud-based data platform on GCP, utilising state-of-the-art services. In parallel, we keep existing processes running on-premise until they are fully migrated. Are you passionate about combating fraud through data analysis and ML modeling? Join our team to help us stay ahead in fraud prevention using cutting-edge technologies. 


YOUR TASKS

  • You analyze complex data sets to detect and prevent fraud

  • You build and manage ML models for fraud detection, guiding them from conception to production
  • You develop and operate services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • You work with business units to design and implement effective fraud detection tools
  • You provide operational support to fraud analysts in their day-to-day activities
  • You act as a subject matter expert in fraud detection and prevention, providing insights and guidance on best practices


YOUR PROFILE

  • You have several years of relevant professional experience

  • You are proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis and ML/DL model development 

  • You have experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Bigtable, VertexAI, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow) and Terraform as well as with ELK Stack 
  • Hands-on experience in fraud analysis and prevention distinguish you
  • Strong communication skills, meaning fluent in both English and German rounds off your profile
