YOUR TASKS

  • You focus on the operation of scalable and reliable services in our evolving hybrid environment combining on-premise Linux/VM infrastructure, private cloud (OpenShift) and public cloud (GCP)
  • Positioned at the interface between Engineering and Operation, you provide and implement reliability practices with a DevOps mindset
  • You implement and improve orchestration pipelines (deployment, canaries, rollback) and observability tooling (monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing)
  • You automate recurring activities and develop Infrastructure as Code, validations and tests, monitoring procedures and analysis tools to ensure the availability of our services and the protection of our customer data
  • You participate actively in evolving system architecture and cross functional requirements to help build a state of the art, flexible and transparent application landscape
  • You enjoy working with and within an international team, and with departments across Europe


YOUR PROFILE

  • You have several years of experience in the operation of modern and classic web application architectures in the enterprise environment
  • You have working experience with the operation of applications on container technologies using Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • You gained knowledge of orchestration tools like Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
  • You are experienced with any of the following programing languages: Java, Python, Groovy, Go
  • You have some infrastructure experience or interest in the areas of networking, firewalls, load balancer and databases
  • You know your way around git, YAML and Linux
  • You are familiar with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Icinga, Kibana, Grafana, or cloud equivalents
  • You have the ability to work in a team, are resilient, and open to new challenges
  • You are willing to work in an OnCall rotation model
  • You are fluent in English, German is optional but welcome
