Please note that the position is located in Munich, Germany. Three days of on-site work per week are required. Thank you!

YOUR TASKS

• Together with the team, you will develop end-to-end solutions for our customers, bring them live and maintain them.
• Together with our other Solutions Architects, you define and revise architectural guiding principles to steer our platform and solution development.
• Wanting to see your code in production as quickly as possible, you also take care of Continuous Delivery.
• You communicate your solution ideas in a way that everyone can understand them.
• You improve our LMS platform by challenging the status quo, bringing in your ideas to continuously simplify the platform, and ensuring a fast time to market for new capabilities.
• You drive technology innovations to enable business innovations based on our platform.
• You take on a mentor role to support our team’s developers, helping them to grow and to develop into a Solution Architect role themselves.

OUR TECH STACK

JAVA, JEE, Spring, SpringBoot, REST, Hibernate, relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), cloud-based systems (AWS or equivalent), Maven, Jenkins, Git
  

YOUR PROFILE

• You have 10+ years of experience as a Java Software Developer, including experience with large systems with a high transaction volume.
• You are proficient with all the coding languages and technologies we mentioned in our tech stack.
• You are eager to understand our customer domain to find the best solutions for our customer’s needs.
• You have domain knowledge in Loyalty, Airline, Banking, or comparable.
• You have profound mentoring / leadership skills to develop team members, to delegate and provide guidance.
• You love to actively drive topics forward and to accept challenges - always having the goal in mind.
• You have a DevOps mindset (ship it as you would run it)
• You enjoy working in an international team.
• You have an agile mindset, and as part of a cross-functional team you are open to supporting other disciplines if required, for the success of the whole team.
• You have the willingness to adapt to time zone needs for a project.
• Excellent English skills are a prerequisite, fluent German skills are a plus.
