YOUR TASKS

• You take responsibility for planning, installing, configuring and monitoring a highly available and secure network infrastructure
• You contribute innovative ideas for the optimization and automation of operational processes
• You support the development of a hybrid cloud infrastructure, as well as the implementation and administration of cloud and on-premise environments
• You connect new locations or external partners and service providers via IPSec VPN or dedicated line/MPLS
• You analyze problems in a targeted manner and ensure sustainable troubleshooting in the event of network and IT infrastructure faults
• You work together with external IT service providers both in day-to-day business and in the implementation of projects
• You are the technical contact person in 3rd level support with alternating 24/7 on-call duty and willingness to travel

YOUR PROFILE

• You have several years of professional experience in network and system administration and therefore have very good knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN and network security
• You have already gained experience with cloud services from a large cloud provider and are familiar with the administration of systems from Fortinet, Arista, F5
• You have very good knowledge of Linux system administration
• You have a sound grounding in scripting (Bash, Python) and virtualization with VMWare and OpenShift
• You are familiar with automation based on YAML, Jenkins and Terraform
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-orientated manner and demonstrate flexibility and team spirit
• Very good English and fluent German skills round off your profile
