As System Engineer / Technical Operations Specialist (m/f/d), you will be part of an agile team and help shape the future of these programs!



Please note that the position is located in Munich, Germany. Three days of on-site work per week are required, and good German language skills (at least B2 level) are a must. Thank you!



YOUR TASKS

  • You are jointly responsible for technical support for the areas of AWS Cloud, Data Warehouse, Oracle Siebel, Linux and Windows servers, and marketing systems.
  • Together with your team, you will support and advise our customer, Deutsche Bahn, on technical and professional matters, such as troubleshooting and optimizations, concept development and new requirements.
  • You will take on partial responsibility for the analysis, coordination, and quality assurance of all operational issues.
  • With your expertise, you will contribute to the agile further development and optimization of our CRM processes and the system-technical implementation of customer requirements.
  • You will provide in 2nd level support (alternating on-call duty).



YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification (e.g., training and further education).
  • You bring experience with SQL, Unix/Linux and Windows Server; additional experience with data warehousing, NoSQL, cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS), Siebel, and/or IT monitoring are a plus.
  • You ideally have a basic understanding of shell scripting and virtualization/containerization (e.g. with Docker and Kubernetes).
  • You enjoy working in large, complex system landscapes.
  • You have a great interest in understanding the relevant business topics to be able to provide operational input and support your colleagues with your technical know-how in a targeted manner.
  • You have a high degree of flexibility, commitment, and an independent working style.
  • You can think in processes and have an analytical mind, coupled with a hands-on mentality.
  • You can communicate confidently in a business context, both in German and English (at least B2 level).
