Working Student / Internship Employer Branding & Communication (m/f/d)
Description & Requirements
Most people are familiar with the term PAYBACK. We'd love to introduce ourselves to you in a bit more detail. You probably know PAYBACK - either from the question at the checkout or through our widely used shopping app. And of course, we hope you answer with “Yes” at the checkout, because with us, you collect more than just °Points. Whether you're a customer, partner, or colleague: with PAYBACK, every action becomes a rewarding experience.
PAYBACK is the leading loyalty program in Germany and one of the largest and most effective marketing platforms in the world. As a pioneer of the data economy, we develop all technical solutions ourselves right here in Munich. Development is something you can do with us, too—both for yourself and together with us for the PAYBACK program.
We’re excited to meet you!
Start? Preferably immediately in January. Duration? At least one year.
YOUR TASKS
Are you looking for an employer branding & internal communications team that loves good stories, communicates cleverly, and develops formats that really stick? Then you've come to the right place. We're all about digital stages, creative ideas, and communication that not only stands out but also has a lasting impact.
Spoiler alert: it's going to be creative, digital, and (pretty) personal for you.
- Employee app
You'll design the internal communication in our employee app and reach all colleagues in the PAYBACK GROUP with engaging content, interactive competitions, and challenges that strengthen our community
- Editorial planning & content creation
Do you see LinkedIn as more than just a network? Perfect! Then help us develop formats that stand out - and have a lasting impact - from the initial idea to implementation
- Employer branding with character
You bring creative concepts to life: You develop attention-grabbing content formats, plan inspiring video shoots, and transform strong ideas into compelling communication—across all our channels
- Event organization
You help plan, get stuck in, and skillfully put our events on the social media stage. With you, every event - live and digital - becomes a highlight
YOUR PROFILE
- You are at least in your third semester, studying “something to do with media” 😉 and have around 20 hours per week to spare
- You have a flair for good stories – and know how to write them. You are also comfortable with AI support: prompts are nothing new to you, and you may even have built your own “agents.”
- You are creative, flexible, structured, and reliable - yes, you can do it all
- You are a real team player and enjoy interacting with people
- You are familiar with MS Office and use it effectively for your work. Bonus points for experience with Staffbase and TYPO3
- You are fluent in German and have a very good command of English
OUR OFFER
- Your creative breaks: Play FIFA, indulge in Mario Kart, or smash table tennis balls! We even have an all-day coffee and water flat rate
- Student snacks: Tastier than the cafeteria, more choices than the shared kitchen in your apartment – that's our ESSZIMMER. Of course, we cater to vegetarian or vegan preferences too
- Stay flexible: For student employees, we offer various time models ranging from a relaxed 32 hours to an active 80 per month. Mandatory and voluntary internships are welcome, and we also consider requests for bachelor's or master's thesis
- Move it, move it: Our well-being bonus program – enjoy our TURNHALLE and take care of your body and mind during our Health Weeks
- Get Together: Expand your network and connect with many other students during a coffee date or at our monthly Students Get-Together
- Easy Going: Come as you are – as long as you come. The flat-rate travel allowance makes it easy for you
