What this role is about

As a Mobile Engineer iOS, you will work on digital products within PAYBACK’s fast-growing Digital Sales environment. This includes products, business models and partnerships that enable PAYBACK users to collect and redeem points online and in the app.

You will help evolve scalable iOS applications and bring new features to life in an agile product environment. Working with modern iOS technologies, you will turn ideas into reliable, well-performing and user-friendly app experiences.


Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • You develop new features in an agile environment using modern technologies such as SwiftUI, Combine and Swift Concurrency
  • You work on scalable iOS applications and contribute your experience to the ongoing development of the app
  • You actively participate in code reviews and pair programming
  • You explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • You fix bugs and analyze technical issues
  • You monitor Crashlytics / Firebase, investigate anomalies and derive meaningful improvements
  • You continuously improve the codebase, for example through refactoring for performance and clean code
  • You maintain and improve build and deployment pipelines with Jenkins
