What this role is about

As an Intern in Key Account Management Retail (m/f/d), you will support our team in managing and further developing our partner relationships. You will contribute to marketing and CRM campaigns, analyses, reporting, and presentations, while gaining exciting insights into data-driven partner management at PAYBACK.

Your day-to-day work

You provide operational support in managing PAYBACK partner companies.
You assist with campaign analysis, evaluate campaign performance, and independently maintain weekly and monthly reports.
You support the initiation, planning, implementation, and completion of strategic and technical PAYBACK (partner) projects.
You work with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, as well as AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to conduct analyses, prepare content, and make operational processes more efficient.
You conduct independent research and create presentations for internal and external workshops.

This role is a good fit for you if…

You are studying Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Media Management, or a comparable degree program.
You have already gained initial practical experience through internships or working student positions.
You ideally bring knowledge in online marketing, digital media, and/or project management.
You are familiar with all common MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
You work in a structured and independent manner and are highly motivated.
You demonstrate your communication skills through excellent German and good English language proficiency.

Compensation

Mandatory internship: €1,000 / month
Voluntary internship: €2,224 / month
Working student (Bachelor): €17 / hour
Working student (Master): €20 / hour
