Working Student Internal Communication & Employer Branding (m/f/d)
Description & Requirements
Team language: German
Contract type: Working student position (80h/month), preferably starting in August, minimum duration of one year
We are the Internal Comms & Employer Branding team. We love great stories, smart communication, and formats that stick. Spoiler: expect creativity, a digital mindset, and a (pretty) personal touch.
What this role is about
As a Working Student Internal Comms & Employer Branding (m/f/d), you will position topics internally and externally, write stories that get read, and develop formats that stay in people’s minds. From the initial concept to the final content across app, website, and LinkedIn, you help shape how PAYBACK is perceived – internally and externally.
Your day-to-day work
- Employee app & website: You write articles, set topics, and develop formats – directly for our app and website
- Editorial planning & content creation: LinkedIn is more than just a network to you? Then help us create formats that stand out and leave a lasting impression. You will also manage and coordinate our corporate influencer program, connect colleagues with strong content ideas, and bring authentic voices to the outside world
- Employer branding with character: You bring creative ideas to life, develop eye-catching formats, plan inspiring video shoots, and turn strong concepts into compelling communication across all our channels
- Event organization: You help plan, get involved, and bring our events to the social media stage. With you, every event becomes a highlight – both live and digital
This role is a good fit for you if…
- You are at least in your 3rd semester, studying something media-related 😉 and have 20h/week available
- You have a feel for great stories and know how to write them
- You’re into prompting, AI-driven processes, and creative use cases; you follow trends, explore new tools and workflows, and ideally have already built your own AI agents or automations
- You’re creative, flexible, structured, and reliable – yes, all at once
- You’re a team player and enjoy working with people
- You are familiar with MS Office and know how to use it effectively
- You speak fluent German and have very good English skills
What you get
- Creative freedom: Bring in bold ideas, experiment, and try out new things
- AI expertise: Insights into AI-driven communication and how to use it effectively
- Team spirit: A team that enjoys working and laughing together
- Culture: From joint workouts to Oktoberfest visits or relaxed team dinners – it’s all part of the experience
Conditions & benefits
- Flexibility: Vacation depending on your model (24 days/year for internships, 12 days/year as a working student)
- Food & drinks: Mostly free, healthy and varied meals, daily fresh fruit and popcorn, plus coffee and tea
- Health & fitness: Free access to our in-house gym, health weeks, massages, and physiotherapy on-site
- Culture: Team events, student lunches, and an open “come as you are” mentality
- Development: Individual internal trainings and various development opportunities

Compensation

- Voluntary internship: €2,224 / month
- Working student (Bachelor): €17 / hour
- Working student (Master): €20 / hour
